Delays to USA During June & July of 2010
Well we are once again experiencing horrific delays caused by customs at JFK which actually services most of the United States. The blame is being placed on the new construction at JFK International airport which started in March and isn't expected to be completed til late July or some time in August. Average delivery time is expected to be around 4 weeks to 5 weeks but we are hoping sooner. Another cause for the delay is multiple bomb threats causing shutdowns there as well. Worst delays are on packages shipped after June 9th 2010 which are basically just sitting in customs waiting to be processed and handed over to the United States Postal Service.
We would like to assure everyone that there packages are always shipped within 1 business day of ordering and usually within just a few hours from when the order is placed. These delays are effecting all inbound registered mail deliveries (not EMS as they are handled differently). Here is a link regarding the construction at JFK that is being blamed for most of the delays: http://www.usatoday.com/travel/flights/2...sure_N.htm If you placed an order and it takes longer then 3 weeks to arrive then please email us before you purchase again with the order# of the package that was delayed and we will send you a coupon code to save you money on your next order. We apologize to everyone for the long delay of their packages but be assured we always guarentee delivery of the package if it is determined lost - delays are common lost packages very very rare. So please be patient this month and remember to email us for a discount on your next order if you experienced a delay. Also one final note - Texas has the slowest international mail service of all the United States so delays to Texas are the worst in the country - actually worse then most third world countries - so if you are from Texas I strongly recommend the Shipped from within USA option we now offer on most of our products or expect shipping to take a long time. Best Regards, William Flynn - Ainterolherbs.com |
